Carved Skulls Near Structure 7

These carved skulls are building ornaments would have once adorned one of the buildings, most likely Structure 7. They may have been emblematic of the buildings purpose, but more than likely that represent the ancestors and were intended to protect the building and its occupants, and impart the wisdom of the ancients upon them.
