Ollantaytambo: Incamisana Sundial

This rather understated image is of what is believed to be a sundial. To try and add some perspective, the ledge at the bottom of the smooth rock wall is at least half a metre high. The shadows cast from the large round protrusions, which can be seen casting a shadow on the ledge, are thought to have been used to track the solstices.
