Monument 2, Tortuguero
This is Monument 2 from the Mayan city of Tortuguero and is a sculpture depicting a snake with a hieroglyphic inscription carved in low relief. The inscriptions include a date equivalent to 711AD. Dates from the Classic Era, 600AD to 900AD.
