Olmec Statue Head
The Olmec are renowned for their unusual artwork, and there is no exception here. It was not indicated where this piece was found or what its function was. The infamous huge “Olmec Heads” are suggested by many to represent people from the African continent, and the curled hair on this statue could also be considered as being of African origin.
